Membership of the Society :

The Membership of the Society shall be in the following categories:

1. Life Members: Shall be open for Medical and non-medical post Graduates who have shown interest in Research in Osteoarthritis as evidenced by at least one research paper published in indexed Journal.

2. Associate Members Shall be open for Medical and non-medical Graduates who have shown interest in treatment and Research in Osteoarthritis but not published any research paper.

3. International Members: Shall be open for Medical and non-medical post Graduates who have shown interest in Research in Osteoarthritis as evidenced by at least one research paper published in indexed Journal residing in countries other than India.

4. International Associate Members: Shall be open for Medical and non-medicalpost Graduates who have shown interest in Treatment Research of Osteoarthritis residing in countries other than India.

5. Fellows: Shall be selected from amongst the Members of the Society with significant contribution in the field of Osteoarthritis research to the satisfaction of the Executive Council.

6. International Fellows: Shall be selected from amongst the Members of the Society with significant contribution in the field of Osteoarthritis research to the satisfaction of the Credentials Committee.

7. Honorary Fellows: The Association may invite eminent persons to be Honorary Fellows of the Society.

8. Corporate Membership: A corporate body may become a Corporate Member of the Society by paying annual Fee as given in the rules. The Corporate body shall be allowed to nominate two persons as Members of the Society.

9. Any other category that the General Body may decide on the recommendation of the Executive Committee.

10. All members named in the Memorandum of Association of the Society at the time of its formation will join the Society within 3 month of formation and shall be called Founder members of the Society and shall be life members.

Lifetime Membership fees :  Rs 5000

Founder Member :  Rs3000 (upto 30th April 2017)

Associate Life Members : Rs 3000.

International Members : US$ 100 or equivalent.

International Associate Members : US$ 100 or equivalent

Fellows : Rs 5000

International Fellows : US$100.

Honorary Fellows : No Fee

Corporate Membership : Rs 100,000 per year.

6. International Fellows: Are selected from amongst the Members of the Society with significant contribution in the field of Osteoarthritis research to the satisfaction of the Executive Committee.

7. Honorary Fellows: The Association may invite eminent persons to be Honorary Fellows of the Society to the satisfaction of the EC.

8. Corporate Membership: A corporate body may become a Corporate Member of the Society by paying annual Fee as given in the Appendix. The Corporate body shall be allowed to nominate two persons as Corporate Members of the Society.

9. Any other category that the General Body may decide on the recommendation of the Executive Committee.

10. All members named in the Memorandum of Association of the Society at the time of its formation, or will join the Society upto 30th April 2017 will be called Founder members of the Society and shall be life members.
